Fatal Factions: Tempo is coming!

As a little early Christmas gift to the loyal fans of Fatal Factions, I want to introduce another game in the Fatal Factions universe, Fatal Factions: Tempo!

Fatal Factions: Tempo will be hitting Tabletop Simulator on December 22nd! As long as you already have Tabletop Simulator, it will be free to play. You can check out the official page here.

The game will be in the same state as Fatal Factions: Guild Wars in that it will be in a sort of "finalized beta" state. The mechanics of the game are done and the cards have been balanced and finalized. Though there is some art on some of the cards, it will not be considered "done" and ready to print for the real world until we can find a way to get the art on these cards. However, I don't want that to stop anyone from enjoying the game! If a lack of real art doesn't bother you, then you will find the game every bit as enjoyable.

To take some parts from the official Fatal Factions: Tempo page, here's a quick description of the game's story and what you do as the Chronadax mercenary:

"Curst has never been a lucky place.  Set in an underground cavern, the city of Curst has always had a tough time starting up trade with other cities and producing a great amount of food for themselves.  Unfortunately for its people, their day - more specifically, their 3 hours - were about to get significantly worse.

A strange blue artifact erupts from within the city.  A barrier dissolving the fingers of anyone that touches it surrounds the city in a destructive bubble.  For a little more than 3 hours, the city is trapped.  Then, a blue light erupts from within Castle Curst and swallows the city hole.  Now, the city repeats the exact same events over and over again for days.  The barrier is no longer dangerous, but the people inside only know of its dissolving properties.  Anything within could be saved if they could leave, but they can't.

Chronadax, a guild known for keeping care of time itself, has appeared and begun to investigate what they call the permanence event.  Through experimentation, they find out the rules and properties of the permanence area.  Wanting to stay outside to constantly observe events of the city, they hire three mercenaries to investigate the permanence event.

You play as one of the mercenaries under Chronadax.  Your goal is to find out what caused the permanence event and stop it so that the people of Curst may continue on with their lives.  Play as Zuri the Warrior, Veila the Rogue or Almina the Mage as you adventure into Curst and rush through the chaos of the city.  Don't stay still for too long, as an active unknown force will kick you from the permanence area if you are stuck or you die.  Create change to make your runs easier and save the people of Curst from the chaos that has swallowed it whole!"

In preparation for the official "beta/non-beta" release, I'll be preparing some videos on the official Youtube Channel. Please look out for them in time for the beta release!

Guild Wars as well as the 2 other official card games will be given the same treatment with many more videos and helpful tips on top of the present documentation. Please look forward to more games and a more thorough introduction to Guild Wars!
